Carlisle Baptist Church is an evangelical church preaching Christ crucified, risen and coming again. We believe the Bible to be God’s revealed Word to men and women for today and accept it as our sole rule of faith and practice. We preach that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
There is a warm welcome for you no matter what your church background (or lack of a church background). Don’t take our word for it but come and see for yourself. We look forward to meeting you.
The entrance to our church is from Warwick Square.
The church is situated near the centre of Carlisle in an area of older properties many of which have been converted into bedsits to accommodate the students from the University which is nearby. Aglionby Street, and its continuation, Tait Street, runs between the Botchergate (A6) and Warwick Road (A69).
